Providing Quality Personal Care Since 1970

At Marian Hall Home, residents find a personal care community that provides
them with the quality care they need to remain as independent as possible.

our services

People come to personal care facilities at a time in their lives when they are faced with many challenges. But it is also a time in their lives when they have much to share with others, and still much to learn about themselves. At Marian Hall, we work with residents, their family members, friends, and medical advisers, to help meet these challenges and share their experiences by providing a great place to live. We are committed to helping them be as independent as possible and achieve a balanced lifestyle filled with varied daily activities, including a meaningful spiritual life. We are thrilled when residents share their lives with us, and respond successfully to the challenges before them.

our facilities

Marian Hall Home is a personal care facility situated on an 11-acre campus, high atop a hillside overlooking beautiful vistas in Pittsburgh's northern suburbs. We provide 60 private, furnished rooms in two buildings equipped with modern security systems. Each room includes a private bath, individual temperature control, and an emergency call system. Laundry, linen and housekeeping services are also part of our daily care. Telephones and cable television are available at affordable fees. Residents can provide their own personal furniture, if they desire. Our cafeteria is open for three meals and two snacks each day. Food is also stocked in resident lounges on each floor. Residents find that Marian Hall has a family atmosphere where they can be as independent as possible. They enjoy unlimited visitation privileges, both on and off the Mount Assisi campus. our team

Our administrators, physicians, nurses, aides and other support staff get to know each resident so that we can meet their individual needs and specific care plans. Marian Hall employs 48 full- and part-time personnel. Our Administrator and Assistant Administrators guide our staff members in serving the needs of residents. Although personal care facilities are not required to have nurses on staff, Marian Hall has five full-time and four part-time nurses available for the benefit of our residents. Our nurses and nursing aides assist residents with many day-to-day activities, and our activities coordinators organize a wide variety of enriching and entertaining events and activities for our residents. A physician is available on-site one day per week, and residents also are encouraged to stay in touch with their personal doctors for medical advice. Excellent pharmaceutical support also is available locally.

We welcomed family and friends of Marian Hall for our 2018 Memorial Service on November 7, honoring 26 loved ones who passed over the last year. A family member of each of the departed carried a ceremonial candle in their memory. Afterwards, the participants stayed for a reception to share refreshments and their common experience of loss. We wish each family peace.

Our residents were certainly in the mood for tricks and treats at our annual Halloween Party on October 31. The scene was set with colorful get-ups, pumpkin decorating, spooky music, games and goodies. The day was made even more special when some of our employees brought their little ones along in costume. It was a fun time for “characters” of all ages!
